Toronto Spring Classic Car Auction - Time to Consign!

A stellar final-year 1965 Porsche 356 C Coupe was one of the Fall 2011 auction's best sellers with a fabulous onsite presentation by the seller and incredible documentation. When the hammer fell after an exciting round of bidding, it sold for a strong $74,250. It is one of the last Porsche 356s ever built (120 from the last), having left Karmann's factory in December 1964. This strong result is proof positive of the unbeatable power of this car's combination of "final year" cachet, rarity, excellent documentation, excellent condition, and fastidious preparation for the sale. Strong marketing in the full-colour sale brochure, auction company website and pre-sale promotion are other great auction benefits.

For Canadian classic-car enthusiasts and our friends from the northern United States, Collector Car Productions' annual Toronto Spring Classic Car Auction is a huge three-day draw for buyers, sellers and onlookers alike. Set for April 13 - 15 at Mississauga, Ontario's International Centre, the Spring Auction is set to build on the great results of the Fall Auction of October 2011, with exceptional cars to be sold by event founder Dan Spendick and his crew.

We are taking consignments now for April and good slots are filling fast. For full information on the event and for advice on consigning your classic car to the auction, contact me and I will be glad to help you out, as always.

I hope to talk to you soon and we're looking forward to another great event, one that consistently delivers on its promise to help you market your classic, sports, racing, exotic, or luxury car in the best possible manner. If you would like to discuss this fantastic opportunity to market your car, post a comment below.

In the meantime, enjoy the selection of photos of some of the cars offered at the fall Auction this past October.
