Joe, despite his surname, is not the former major league baseball player. He is, however, one of the top automotive artists around today, and a fantastic guy to boot. In addition to his killer line of prints and posters, Joe has been working with Bad Guys, a division of the Platt and LaBonia company, which is based in Connecticut and has been doing good business manufacturing top-notch garage cabinets among other business lines for many years.
The Tucker cabinet depicted is the culmination of Joe's partnership with Bad Guys and was displayed at Hershey, Pennsylvania's AACA Museum recently. There, the JoepeP Tucker cabinet was auctioned during the AACA Museum's "Night at the Museum" event. In addition to Joe's cool artwork, you can also have a "one-off" personalized cabinet made using a photograph of your ride.
Here are some images of Joe and his latest creations. Get one - or better still, a whole wall of them - for yourself! Check out this link to a Hemmings.com post on Joe and the Tucker cabinet for the rest of the story:
If you dig the cabinet as much as I do, leave a comment below this post and I will get you in contact with Joe himself. You'll be glad you did! Remember, the Holidays are coming very soon and Joe's cabinets will be sure to rock the car guy or gal in your life like nothing else could!
